Cost: $15/family (pre-registration encouraged)
Educational Psychologist, Melanie Willins, will lead a guided interactive hike where we will incorporate mindfulness practices for caregivers and kiddos, and discuss the benefits of nature on self-regulation and executive functioning. You will learn evidence-based strategies to help support social and emotional well-being. Leave with some tips and tricks in hand to continue your own journey with exploring the benefits of nature as a family!
All ages welcome, geared for families with kids under 10. Feel free to stay after and bring a picnic dinner to share in community.
